Our links with the insurance industry were initiated with one of the countries oldest
mutual insurers frustrated with the biased advice received from the removal industry representatives.
They had been relying on just two national contractors and felt, more often than not, they were paying
over and above market rates for even the simplest asbestos project. On Advice have over 27 years experience
in the consultancy side of the asbestos industry and have acted in the capacity Expert Witness in a variety of
insurance cases in the UK over the years.
Since 2015 we have built up a large panel of smaller local asbestos contractors giving national coverage. On
Advice manage all asbestos remediation aspects of any insurance claim. The appropriate specification for
remediation is devised by our team, and is then offered out to at least two local contractors to quote on,
creating competition and ensuring the most cost effective solution in provided. We seamlessly fit into the
supply chain liaising with the insured, and follow-on contractors ensuring smooth workflow. Our Clients get’s
one invoice for all asbestos facets of that project, typically the invoice is for significantly less than had they use
the on of two National contractor who know they have captive market.
